A family owned business that you can trust. After my husband received a suspiciously high quote from another well known company I came across E.H. Haines. My husband contacted them and the owner of the company came to inspect and give a quote for the installation of an outlet to plug in an electric car charger. The quote was more than 50% less than what the other company quoted and he said they could do the job the next day. On the day of service, two workers arrived and the first thing they did was put booties on to protect the floors. They were so efficient, and explained everything they were doing in advance. In the process of preparing to install the new outlet they found an error the previous electricians did and fixed the problem at no extra cost. The job was completed quickly and they even cleaned up the work area before leaving. They were also kind enough to wait about 15 minutes for my husband to get home from work so he could test out the charger and make sure everything was working correctly. If you are in need of an electrician and want the job done right then do not hesitate to contact E.H. Haines for a professional and cost effective job. You will not be disappointed!

It was our first encounter with Haines Electric and I couldn’t be happier. Rich Haines is a true professional. It is still family owned and they take pride in having their name attached to the business. I’m always one to judge a contractor by his truck The Haines Electric truck was immaculate and he showed up promptly on time. Communication prior to the appointment was superb, as I received a number of text messages to confirm and was able to speak to Rich directly by phone to reschedule. They are by no means the cheapest electrician out there, but their professionalism and attention to detail makes it all worthwhile.

I called with an electrical issue Saturday night and the electrician showed up as promised Sunday morning. He opened the panel, tested the breakers and determined that there was a break in the wiring. He patiently opened light switches, outlets and ceiling lights until he found the break. He made the repair, tested and then retested after everything was put back in place. They now have a loyal customer in me I would happily recommend them to everyone

If you live in Great Neck or any area served by Haines Electric Services, this is the only company you should call! I had an issue with my outdoor electrical panel and reached out to several electricians, including one I had used in the past. Unfortunately, they either ghosted me or took an eternity to provide an estimate. I was getting increasingly anxious about getting the work done, so I decided to call Haines Electric. To my relief, Rich came over the same day I called. He was professional, explained everything that needed to be done, and provided pricing on the spot. Rich was able to schedule the work immediately, accommodating my need to resolve the issue within the same week. He even considered the weather to ensure my appointment wouldn't be canceled. The team arrived on time and was meticulous in their work, finishing exactly as scheduled. Additionally, they identified a gutter pipe that could have caused problems and incurred extra charges later on. Honestly, Haines Electric deserves 10 out of 10 stars! They exceeded every expectation. Thank you again, Rich, for your diligent work in installing the panel without disrupting the gutter. I truly appreciate it!
