I called Haines Electric to change an outlet from three prong to four prong for my dryer. They were at my house when they said they would be and the guys did a very thorough job. I will definitely call Haines again for any electrical needs.

I have used Haines Electric many times over the years and they have always done a wonderful job. They are very professional, polite, upfront about pricing and prompt. Whether Rich, RJ or Mike are doing the work I am always sure that no matter what the problem they will pleasantly keep working until it is solved while keeping me up to date on the steps they are taking. There is never a mess when they leave and I have to say I love the red booties they put on their feet to keep my floors clean! Hands down the best all around contractor I have ever used.

I had a Broan through the wall kitchen exhaust fan installed to replace the original fan used for 45 years. The 2 man crew came on time, were prepared for the installation and worked quickly and cleanly. Very happy with install.

Haines electric led by, Rich Haines, is a family ran business that makes you feel like you're part of the family. They recently came and added outside lighting and cameras to my house as well as updating my thermostat and a few other minor repairs and not only was the work perfectly completed but they were in and out quickly didn’t even know they were there and completely cleaned up the work. Coming home after they left and completed work you would never know anyone was in the house. Completely spotless. They even wear bottles to not track dirt. Highly recommend.

Rich and his team did a great job installing an EV charger and updating our electrical panel. They were professional throughout the whole process and did not upsell unnecessary work. They also kept their job site very clean. At the end they gave me a detailed walkthrough of all the work they completed and made sure everything was working properly. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend their work and will definitely use them again for future electrical work.

Generator stopped working. Wouldn’t turn over. Changed oil, battery, plugs. Still not working. Called guy who installed it and he said it’s not electrical so he can’t do it. Called another guy who said it is more than 5 years old and they can’t get parts. Called third guy and he said he only does Generac and my engine is Vanguard/Briggs and Stratton from like 2013 after Sandy. Kept looking online and found Haines. Good reviews so I gave them a call. Very glad I did. They came on time, professional, courteous and honest! They found a spider egg in the gas line and that was it. No extra charges. Even tested it afterwards to make sure it came on when power went off. Rich and his assistant were great. Definitely give them a try.

Initially, I utilized the Angi's app to see if I could have at least three contractors visit my home to provide me quote to install an EV charger. Sadly, I did not receive any calls from any of the contractors selected in the app. I decided to call one of them directly, the Universal rep was friendly and willing to set up my appointment with one of their dispatch reps. But first, I would have to put down a $150 deposit, which will be deducted off the cost of the job....if I choose them to do the job. I declined to set up the appt, because if I didn't like their quoted price, i don't get back my $150 deposit. Sound more like a crooked way to do business....especially if I'm simply asking for a quote.

I called Haines Electric after doing a search for electric contractors in my area. The person I spoke with on the phone was friendly and advised my that Rich would give me a call regarding setting up the appointment for a quote.

I received a call from Rich later that day, and I met him two days later without the need of put down a deposit. Rich reviewed the location I wanted the EV charger installed, took measurements, along with checking the capacity of the power panel. We talked about different options to get the electric line from the panel to the charger outside. After our meet ended, Rich said he will call me later in the day with the quote to have the job done. I heard back from Rich, and was satisfied with the quoted cost.

On the day of installation, I met the two technicians from Haines Electric. They were both professional and gave off positive vibes. Once the work was done, I was completely blown away with their workmanship. In my mind... I was expecting to see holes in the drywall and an exterior brick wall needed some repair once the job was done. Instead, I have minimal drywall repair.... I can do myself and no brick work repair needed outside. The team duo, cleaned up and left the work area looking as if nothing was ever done. Again, I'm blown away with the workmanship and extremely satisfied with the installation.

From this point on, Haines Electric will be my contractor choice for any electrical work needed in my home. I will also recommend them to any of my neighbors that require electrical work in their homes.

Side note....
One of my neighbors had his EV charger installed several months back by a different contractor. He was left with exterior brick work, and interior drywall work repairs needed after his installation was done. He did recommend his contractor to me, but I never called, instead I contacted the true professionals at Haines Electric.

We had Haines electric do some repair work at our home last week. They arrived on time and got the job done! We would highly recommend this company- friendly, courteous, professional!

Every single time I've called them they are very accommodating. It's a family run business that cares about the work they do. I've used them multiple of times from cutting an electrical line that I didn't need anymore, to putting in a new electrical plug I needed, to even changing light bulbs over a stairwell that is dangerous. They've done it all! I highly recommend them!
